Exhibitors will be selected based on originality and craftsmanship. The Selection Committee will ensure a variety of media are represented in the show. Decisions of the Selection Committee are final.

All persons applying to participate will agree to the terms below and confirm proof of insurance and current health inspection results will be submitted to the ARTfest Coordinator by September 1, 2024.
Food and Beverage Food & Beverage Exhibitors will be selected based on ensuring a variety of items are offered for sale. Decisions of the Selection Committee are final.
All booths must be of a professional standard. Food & Beverage Exhibitors must supply their own booth/truck and are responsible for keeping their space clean and free of tripping hazards. All Food & Beverage Exhibitors must ensure that their booths conform to all municipal and fire standards and must hold the documentation of proof of conformity. Signs reducing pricing and/or ‘Special Sale’ signs of any kind are not permitted.
Food & Beverage Exhibitors shall indemnify and save harmless the DSBN and its respective elected officials, officers, employees, agents, successors and assigns from and against all claims, demands, actions, losses, damages, suits, proceedings, expenses, costs, including all legal fees and disbursements, of every nature and kind whatsoever, including without limitation any fines or charges assessed against the DSBN by any government or other officials related to any Exhibitor’s actions, which the DSBN and its respective elected officials, officers, employees, agents, successors, and assigns may suffer, arising out of, or attributable to the acts or omissions of the Exhibitor, its board members, officers, directors, servants, employees, agents, successors, assigns and anyone for whom at law the Exhibitor is responsible, in the performance of its obligations under this agreement.
Food & Beverage Exhibitors must carry general liability insurance of at least two million dollars ($2,000,000) and name the District School Board of Niagara as an “Additional Insured.” The insurance certificate must be valid for the dates of the ARTfest. An insurance certificate, proving compliance with this requirement shall be provided by September 1, 2024 to the ARTfest Coordinator. Failure to provide documentation by the deadline may result in cancellation of this contract.
Food & Beverage Exhibitors must provide the DSBN (via the ARTfest Coordinator) with a copy of the results of their most recent health inspection certificate by September 1, 2024. Failure to provide documentation by the deadline may result in cancellation of this contract.
Security will be provided on Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 6 p.m. to 7 a.m.
Food & Beverage Exhibitors must be completely set up by 10 a.m. October 12, 2024.
Once the Food & Beverage Exhibitor has been accepted as a participant and paid for their booth, no refunds will be issued for any reason (health or otherwise).
Sales permits and collection of all appropriate sales taxes and GST are the sole responsibility of the Food & Beverage Exhibitor. Food & Beverage Exhibitors are responsible for their own charge card services.
Food & Beverage Exhibitors shall observe DSBN Policy at all times by ensuring that they, and any staff or volunteers at their booth, do not use tobacco, alcohol, recreational cannabis, illegal narcotics, or controlled substances on DSBN property.
Space sharing is not permitted nor is encroaching onto an open space near your booth. An additional fee will be assessed at the DSBN’s sole discretion if Food & Beverage Exhibitors occupy space beyond their booth.
Food & Beverage Exhibitors are expected to participate for the duration of the event unless extreme weather conditions force the ARTfest Committee to declare the event cancelled. A refund will not be issued. Any Food & Beverage Exhibitor who leaves the show prior to 5 p.m. on any given day without consulting the coordinators will be prohibited from applying to and participating in future shows.
Food & Beverage Exhibitors will only be provided with one vehicle parking space. Recreational vehicles or heavy trucks will not be permitted on the school grounds. All vehicles must be removed from the exhibition and sales area and streets no later than 9 a.m. each day of the event.
Washroom facilities and food concessions are available outdoors on site. Upon presentation of appropriate identification badges, Food & Beverage Exhibitors may be permitted to use the washroom facilities inside the school.
